SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester who plays a crucial part in the production of awesome games. Work with a customer who is one of the largest regulated gambling operators in the UK, and are expanding rapidly to support their development needs.

POSITION INFO:

You will be working in a team that is responsible for taking the game from a concept stage to a finished game, optimized for both desktop and mobile devices. You will be responsible for defining and writing extensive Test Plans for detailed cross platform testing of casino games. Test Plans will consist of manually written Test Cases, which needs to be detailed, clear, and understandable.  Your responsibilities will also include the testing of existing and new software, documenting the testing, logging any faults found, and communication with the developers regarding test findings.

Work in agile teams and believe that working closely in a small team is crucial in creating the best games and it helps us in an agile way to take faster and better decisions.

The Team: The development team consists of a team leader, a Java developer, two Javascript developers, a quality assurance specialist, a game designer, and a mathematician. The team will interact with the product owner, a development manager, a technical architect, and to some extent with creative team members.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Grade 12/matric
• Relevant IT diploma or degree
• +4 years relevant work experience
• +2 years experience working in the iGaming industry ( ideally )
• Experience using Agile methodologies, QA methodologies, tools, Processes
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes
• Experience using Test Rails or any other software used for testing of products
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of the principles of functional and non-functional testing
• Good communication skills to explain technical requirements to the game developers, designer and producer
• Great English speaking and writing skills
• Experience with client-server integrations
• Understanding of GIT, good practices for version control
