JOB SUMMARY:
Our client has created the next generation health screening application and is looking for a QA Tester to join their team, based in Rosebank, Johannesburg.

Are you a meticulous tester, able to test across web, Android and iOS?

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Education:

Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
ISTQB certification

Experience and Knowledge Required

3+ years' Manual and functional testing of Mobile (iOS |Android) and Web applications.
Jira, BitBucket, Confluence, Postman, Browser Dev Tools, TestRail, BrowserStack, etc
SQL, Selenium
Unix commands
Good understanding of JavaScript
In-depth knowledge of Web technologies (HTML and CSS)
Agile / Scrum experience

Role:

Manual and functional testing efforts comprise the bulk of this position.
Manually perform end-to-end tests websites, iOS |Android apps, APIs, and internal CMS tools.
Create detailed and well-structured Test Plans/Cases for sprint tickets, to ensure quality standards in each release.
Write test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems
Perform software inspection, testing, verification and validation. This includes software and software work-product early defect detection and removal, testing (e.g., types, levels, strategies, tools and documentation) and verification and validation methods and techniques
