SUMMARY:
Seeking a QA Tester with an IT Diploma/Degree and ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level/Agile) plus 4 - 5 years Automation scripting experience for a position based in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Job Purpose

Responsible for the planning, analysis, design, and execution of the testing effort, including defect management in Automation.

Responsibilities

Test case/script generation and review.

Test prerequisites compilation
Test execution and recording
Maintenance of high quality and accuracy
Test status updates
Test closure activities

Requirements

Qualifications

IT-related Diploma/Degree
ISTQB Foundation Level
ISTQB Agile

Experience

4 - 5 years Automation scripting experience
4 - 5 years knowledge of functional testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing, automation scripting and execution.
2 - 3 years Manual testing experience
1 - 2 years SQL experience
1 - 2 years Testing in an Agile environment
Testing in Retail sector/SAP environment (advantageous)

Knowledge and Skills

Must have strong skills in both manual and auto testing
Knowledge of automation frameworks
Must have worked with Selenium, Selenium web driver and other automation tools.
