SUMMARY:
QC Analyst in our Quality Control department. (Pharmaceutical)
The basic salary band is R25k – R30k a month.
Based in Wadeville
There is a discretionary bonus based on company performance targets per financial year.
20 days leave per annum
Once permanent, medical aid compulsory and we pay 50%.
Once permanent, pension fund is compulsory. Employee contributes 7.5%. The company contributes 10% which includes pension, life, disability, funeral, spousal cover.

We require an experienced and skilled HPLC technician who has Raw Material/finished product testing experience (at least 3 years).
Credit, criminal and qualification checks are required.
Pharmaceutical experience is preferred
This individual will need to work Monday – Thursday 8h00-16h30 and Friday 8h00 – 15h30.

Where possible, someone who is available immediately would be preferred.

Purpose:
Analyst will under direction, perform a variety of simple to complex routine and non-routine tests to evaluate the quality of raw material(s), intermediate, finished product(s) by determining strength, stability, purity, chemical content and other characteristics.

Main responsibility:

Analyse raw materials, intermediate products, finished products, validation samples.
Compiles, interprets and documents data from testing processes to confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations/ OOS (Out of Specifications).
Ensures completion of delegated tasks by agreed completion dates.
Maintain and manage accurate and precise documentation.
Operation of analytical laboratory instrumentation.
Ensure regulatory compliance with GLP and GMP environment.
Comply with standard procedures.
Interact with Operations and Quality Assurance.
Maintain a safe laboratory work environment.
Ensure adequate stocking of laboratory reagents, reference standards and consumables by monitoring stock levels and ensuring timeous ordering.
