JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in Boksburg requires the services of 3 (Three) Quality Inspectors, with a National Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Mechatronics, and Metallurgica majoring in Programming, on a CONTRACT basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

POST REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum N-Dip – Mechanical (Major in Programming), Industrial (Major in Programming), Chemical (Major in Programming), Mechatronics (Major in Programming), Metallurgical (Major in Programming), Computer science (Major in Programming) or and related field with Programming as Major
A year’s experience in programming, system development
Good problem-solving skills, customer liaison skills, and interpersonal skills are essential.
A logical, flexible, self-motivated, reliable, well-spoken individual with thoroughness and tenacity.
Knowledge and ability to apply MS Office Software, especially Word & Excel packages are essential.
Ability to work shifts.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Quality Control:

Strong capability to perform mechanical inspections
Strong sense of direction and presence
Ability to manage implementation of quality control systems
Control of process and final product scrap and rework in the plant

Quality assurance:

Review of quality documentation when required
Implementation and review of quality processes
Ability to analyze, improve and optimize quality processes
LEAN manufacturing an advantage

Test Facilities:

Management of internal and external testing of materials
Ability to perform testing of materials

General:

Must be able to lead people and organize workload effectively
Must be willing to work shifts
Must be hands-on
Ability to carry up to 35 kg if required
