QC Lab Analyst

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical, microbiological, and stress tests using standard laboratory methods
• Prepare solutions and carry out verification through quality control checks
• Support calibration, maintenance, and correct use of lab equipment
• Maintain accurate laboratory and quality documentation
• Support quality audits and assessments
• Assist in problem-solving, discrepancy investigation, and corrective actions
• Ensure proper storage and identification of chemicals and reagents
• Monitor laboratory stock levels and consumables
• Uphold laboratory hygiene and safety standards

Minimum Requirements:

• ND or BSc in Microbiology, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related field
• Minimum 2 years laboratory experience advantageous
• Exposure to ISO / SANAS 17025 standards beneficial
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel and general MS Office
