Skilled QC Officer/Inspector role in Wadeville Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:

Job Title: QC Officer/Inspector

Report to: Operations
Seniority Level: Mid-Career (2 - 4 yrs exp)
Type: Temp with a possibility of becoming permanent
Sectors: Engineering and Technical
Functions: QC Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Verify incoming raw materials and services
Conduct routine patrol inspections
Record inspection results and ensure compliance
Perform welding and assembly verifications
Complete final inspection of finished goods
Validate measuring instruments and maintain records
Raise Non-Conformance Reports
Maintain documentation and records
Work in compliance with HSE and Quality requirements

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

Matric with 55% pass mark
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related (Advantageous)
2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Skills in measuring instruments, interpreting engineering drawings, and Microsoft Office
Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
