QC STAFF

SUMMARY:

Our client is seeking to employ an experienced Inspector to assist in leading their inspection and NDT team.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Coordinating and directing the work of inspection and NDT.
• Compile report templates from the scope of work
• Plan out the duration of work
• Issue and review inspection reports that identify recommendations and suggestive actions and follow up to ensure proper and timely completion
• Check components with engineering
• Compile data books
• Issue scope of work to staff.
• Mentor, audit, and evaluate staff.
• Maintain communication with the Site Manager.
• Perform routine boiler inspection
• Perform internal and external inspections to determine if items under inspection meet the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard, or document.
• Use a computer to compile and submit daily reports and inspection reports.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements:

• SAQCC Inspector Level 2 or Equivalent
• 3 years or more Supervision experience in a similar role
• 2 years or more experience working on coal fire power station
