Are you an experienced Quality Control professional with a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards in a manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to join a leading manufacturing business and play a key role in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across laboratory and production operations. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO standards and internal quality management systems. Review and approve laboratory results, test data and quality documentation. Investigate product non-conformances and implement corrective actions. Support production teams through effective in-process quality control activities. Oversee laboratory equipment verification, calibration and maintenance activities. Manage quality inspections of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products. Review and maintain product specifications, item codes and bill of materials. Ensure environmental monitoring and outsourced testing activities are completed according to schedule. Develop, implement and maintain quality control procedures, SOPs and sampling plans. Lead, mentor and coordinate the activities of the Quality Control team. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance and Technical departments to ensure product compliance. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Technology or a related scientific field. Minimum 5 years' experience within a Quality Control laboratory environment. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP and quality management systems. Experience working within a manufacturing environment. Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation. Experience with laboratory instrumentation and troubleshooting. Experience and Qualifications Cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing or related industry experience highly advantageous. Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 22716 or similar quality systems. HPLC experience would be beneficial. Experience with ERP systems and quality documentation processes advantageous.
