Qualified Charted Accountant

SUMMARY:

Salix Recruitment specializes in placing Finance professionals in the market. We are looking for outstanding individuals who can adhere to strict deadlines, be able to work in dynamic groups and looking to expand their experience and skills in the commercial industry. The successful incumbent will be in their mid-career with (3-5 years) finance experience. This incumbent will have strong business acumen, strategy, and risk knowledge.

POSITION INFO:

Duties

• Annual financial statements ;
• Operational reporting Financial reporting Financial management ;
• Create and maintain stakeholder relationships;
• Oversee financial decisions and have good analytical skills;
• Provide leadership and guidance to financial managers;
• Create financial reports;
• Create plans and strategies for long term financial benefit of the organisation;
• Have strong communication skills;
• Have strong financial knowledge regarding accounting and tax law;
• Prepare reports to profits, reduce cost’s and optimize cash flow.

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12) with distinctions.
• BCom Accounting;
• BCom Honours (CTA);
• Completed Qualified CA (SA).

Experience

• Completed SAICA Articles within recognisable Audit firm;
• 2/3 years’ Post Articles experience in finance related roles is a big deciding factor;
• Must have commercial industry experience within finance services/Insurance/Investment banking OR Manufacturing/Retail /FMCG and Property would be beneficial
• Must have leadership skills - Team management
• Strong Group Reporting experience would be an added advantage
