Qualified Diesel Technician / Field Technician (Mining)

Reporting to the Site Manager of a Mining Company, the qualified Diesel Technician will be responsible for the field services, repairs, maintenance and breakdowns on various earthmoving (mining) equipment (bulldozers, escavators, dumpers etc.)

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Artisan Trade Test Certificate
• Valid Drivers License
• 15 years working experience in the Mining Industry
• Must be able to work under pressure and be "thick skinned"
• Must be able to start immediately
• Must be willing to work in a rough terrain and difficult working conditions from 6am - 6pm Mon to Fri and rotating Saturdays from 6am - 4pm. Also work on standby for breakdowns.

Remuneration:
NETT (Take-home) salary of R30k per month + Overtime pay + Use of on-site company vehicle + diesel
