Our client, a reputable motor dealership based in Johannesburg North, is seeking to appoint a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the automotive industry, strong diagnostic and repair skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12

• Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (completed trade test – essential)

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a technician at a motor dealership

• Valid driver’s licence – essential

• Clean criminal record – background checks will be conducted

• Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge

• Ability to work in a team and under pressure

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair work on vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and identify issues accurately

• Ensure all work is documented, completed in a timely manner, and meets quality standards

• Work closely with service advisors and workshop staff to ensure customer satisfaction

• Adhere to health and safety regulations and dealership protocols

• Stay updated on latest technology and technical knowledge in the motor industry
