Motor Vehicle Technician – Stellenbosch

The ideal candidate will be a team player, committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensuring that service standards are consistently met and exceeded. The successful incumbent should be results-driven, dedicated to continuous learning, and focused on maintaining high levels of technical and service excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service by accurately completing repair orders within allocated timeframes and optimising workshop productivity. You will ensure that customers have complete confidence in the safety, reliability, and quality of service delivered on their vehicles, while demonstrating the technical expertise and professional approach required to address customer concerns effectively and maintain trust in the dealership’s service offering.

POSITION INFO:
Key Performance Areas:

• Complete repair orders efficiently and timeously within the allocated time
• Achieve workshop labour targets by working efficiently and upselling where possible
• Diagnosing customer problems, providing appropriate solutions and communicating these effectively
• Ensure parts are ordered timeously, and booked out to Job Cards to enable timeous repair completion
• To keep informed on the changes in technology by attending training, reading bulletins and acquiring the knowledge to serve customers’ needs
• To support the Service Manager and Foreman with tasks that are beneficial to the company
• Manage adherence to all Dealership business processes and promote ongoing continuous improvements
• To ensure workstations/equipment/tools and all vehicles are kept neat, clean and tidy and treated with care

• Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (Red Seal) with a minimum of 2 years' working experience within a automotive Dealership, after qualifying.
• Fully Bilingual (English, Afrikaans)
• Motor Vehicle Dealership experience – preferably in the premium segment
• Would also be a distinct advantage if candidate has experience with diagnostics
• Computer Literacy
• Must possess a valid driver's licence
