Are you a Trade Tested Technician who takes pride in "first-time-right" workmanship? A well-established corporate dealership in Pretoria is looking for a Qualified Vehicle Technician to join their high-performing service team.

Unlike traditional workshop roles, you will be the technical lead for your assigned vehicles - managing the process from diagnosis and repair to customer communication. This is a role for a technician who values clinical precision and exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Expert Diagnostics: Perform advanced fault-finding and troubleshooting using modern diagnostic tools.
• Quality Service & Repair: Execute mechanical repairs, component replacements, and routine servicing in line with strict manufacturer standards.
• Customer Interface: Act as a technical point of contact for customers, explaining repairs and ensuring a seamless service experience from beginning to end.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop in peak condition.
• Admin Excellence: Accurate completion of job cards and service documentation to ensure dealership compliance.

Who You Are (Requirements)

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Qualifications: Qualified Motor Mechanic (Trade Test / Red Seal) is Essential.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years recent experience within a corporate dealership environment.
• Brand Expertise: You MUST have recent experience working with at least one of the following brands: Ford, Toyota, VW, Mazda, Chevrolet, Volvo, or Peugeot/Citroën. (Non Negotiable)
• Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities and proficiency with advanced automotive tools.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to customers.
• Compliance: Valid Driver’s License and a clear criminal record.
