Quality Assurance Engineer

PBT has an opportunity for a QA Engineer. The QA Engineer will need to Independently design, develop & enhance test automation scripts/frameworks. The incumbent will need to conduct the relevant root cause analysis and collaborate with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions suitable for the environment.

About the role:

• Digital Retail Banking Experience Responsibilities include:
• Work closely with a team to ensure script implementation comply with best practices and testability requirements.
• Work closely with software developers and test engineers to understand software workflows, use cases and specifications in creating automated tests across the application.
• Expand automation framework to provide additional test capabilities.
• Analyse existing systems to find areas for improvement.
• Actively participate in an agile development process.

About you:

• Experience with API/Services Automated Test Frameworks.
• Knowledge of Test Data Management.
• Knowledge of Test Reporting Frameworks.
• Device-level testing experience.
• General SDLC process skills
• Ability to operate in an Agile environment
• Experience in Developing an Automation frameworks.
• Experience within an Agile/Scrum/ Kanban environment.
• Experience with Jira and confluence
• Experience in API testing (Prefer Karate / Rest Assured)
• Experience in Appium/ Selenium/ Flutter integration testing
• Strong Experience in Java/ JS/ Phyton
• Experience in BDD
• Good knowledge of automated testing processes, methodologies and software development lifecycles, and good knowledge of Data Structures and algorithms.
