SUMMARY:
Quality Control & SHEQ Coordinator - George

Our client based in the Southern Cape is on a recruitment drive for a dynamic, hands-on, Quality Control and SHEQ Coordinator to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Ensure that the correct monitoring, inspecting and quality control systems are in place
Implement proposed measures to correct and improve overall quality of products
Be able to identify and analyse quality risks
Understand the purpose of each of the Quality Management System elements
Compile standardized procedures and work instructions
Maintain Health & Safety Compliance as per OHS Act (1985)
Supervision of staff would be hugely advantageous

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

Matric
SHEQ qualification - beneficial
ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 - training
QA & SHE experience of +5 years with knowledge within Leather Shoe manufacturing industry (advantageous)
Proven experience in implementing and maintaining OHS Act within a company
Fully computer literate
Valid Driver's License
