SUMMARY:
Our client in the FMCG industry has an opportunity available for a Quality Control Coordinator in the Cape Town area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Matric with Maths and Sciences
• BSc /Food Science, Biotechnology or National Diploma/ Degree in Food Technology
• 2 – 5 year experience within a food manufacturing/processing environment
• Knowledge of ISO standards, PRP’s GMP, Food Technology, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, World class manufacturing and quality practices and models
• Specific product and process knowledge
• Aseptic sampling methods
• Management systems

• Manage the Lab Testing and Sampling Function
• Maintenance of Quality Control Test Data, Specifications and Records
• Equipment Calibration Control
• Manage Incoming Goods Inspection Process
• Manage the Plant Quality Control Function
• Proactive audits carried out
• Assist with Maintenance of Systems
