Manufacturing company requires a Quality Control Inspector to join their team

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

  • Preferably a qualified Fitter and Turner
  • Millwright

Requirements

  • Ability to read drawings
  • Basic mathematics, geometry and trigonometry
  • Knowledge of limits and fits
  • Computer literacy
  • Analytical thinking for mechanical assemblies
  • 2 years previous experience using measuring equipment and computer
  • Fitting background

Duties

  • Inspection of components after disassembly, cleaning and MPI.
  • Verification of components
  • Sketching
  • Photographing
  • Final inspection and release
  • Measuring equipment calibration and calibration register
  • Scopes of work
  • Improvements
  • NCR''s
