Quality Control Manager Western Cape R65,000-R70,000

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the Role:

Manage all functions of the Laboratory, Quality Control and Quality Assurance to ensure compliance to all relevant internal and regulatory requirements.
Manage performance of subordinates in order to ensure that all KPI’s are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

10 years’ experience in a Laboratory Environment
5 years’ experience in a Managerial Capacity in a Production Environment
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, SYSPRO, TRAXYS, WMS, Time Manager)
Extensive experience within the Dairy Industry

Key Performance Indicators for this role (but not limited to):

To manage and align the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Systems to ensure compliance to FSSC-----, ISO 9001 as well as any other relevant regulatory or customer requirements.
Integration of Quality, Food Safety, SHE and Engineering systems
To manage and align the analytical and technical services to support Operations, Business Systems and Product Development

Excellent problem-solving skills as well as interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent presentation and report writing skills.
