SUMMARY:
Quality Control Manager
Our client, a formidable audit and accounting firm based in Cape Town, are looking for a Quality Control Manager to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Registered CA(SA);
2-3 years post article experience;
Experience with Caseware and Pastel and Microsoft Office;
Knowledge of ISQC1;
Knowledge of the IRBA code; and
Expert knowledge of the ISAs.

Main Responsibilities:

Assisting the quality control partner with ISQM implementation, IRBA reporting and reviews and compliance monitoring and reporting;
Participating in the firm’s ISQC1 process;
Providing technical assistance to the audit team;
Assisting the firm training and development officer with induction and training, introductions, training material and presentations;
Delivering input on technical guidance papers and related initiatives; and
Keeping standard working papers and related templates up to date.
