SUMMARY:
Quality Control Manager
Our client, a formidable audit and accounting firm based in Cape Town, are looking for a Quality Control Manager to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered CA(SA);
• 2-3 years post article experience;
• Experience with Caseware and Pastel and Microsoft Office;
• Knowledge of ISQC1;
• Knowledge of the IRBA code; and
• Expert knowledge of the ISAs.

 
Main Responsibilities:
 

• Assisting the quality control partner with ISQM implementation, IRBA reporting and reviews and compliance monitoring and reporting;
• Participating in the firm’s ISQC1 process;
• Providing technical assistance to the audit team;
• Assisting the firm training and development officer with induction and training, introductions, training material and presentations;
• Delivering input on technical guidance papers and related initiatives; and
• Keeping standard working papers and related templates up to date.
