SUMMARY:
Our client in the Advertising media industry is looking for a Ã¢Â€ÂœWord SmithÃ¢Â€Â, this would be a person with their honours or degree in Linguistics or English language. The role is for a Quality Control Manager to be based at their offices in East of Pretoria.

POSITION INFO:

Responsible for the daily quality control of all projects, internal and external, across all relevant media platforms. The Quality Control Manager must therefore demonstrate exceptional attention to detail on a daily basis. The Quality Control Managers'' secondary responsibility is writing copy across all platforms and genres; therefore, you will work with designers, animators, and other specialists across all clients and platforms.

You are expected to be creative, have good interpersonal skills, work well in a team and be able to work under pressure. You must work systematically and thoroughly to meet daily deadlines.

A formal qualification in Linguistics or English language, we could look at a person with strong writing/journalist qualification

4 – 6 years relevant working experience

Exceptional understanding and appreciation of the English and Afrikaans language

Strong writing ability

A clear understanding of, and the ability to perform: proofreading (spelling and grammar), editing, and rewriting (if necessary)

Time Management / Deadline driven
