 Are you a sharp problem-solver with a strong steel industry background and a passion for precision? A leading steel company in Rosslyn is looking for a Quality Controller to manage the full lifecycle of product claims while ensuring top-tier quality standards. This is a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, ideal for someone who is confident, well-organized, and knows how to get things done.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the entire claims process from initiation through to resolution

• Liaise effectively with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers to investigate and close out quality or product-related issues

• Track, report, and resolve all open claims with clear timelines and documentation

• Ensure full compliance with ISO and other quality management systems

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint for internal use and stakeholder review

• Monitor and contribute to improvements in the steel-making process, especially regarding flat products

• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions swiftly

Requirements

• Proven experience in the steel industry, ideally with flat products

• Solid understanding of the steel-making process and product quality standards

• Hands-on experience with ISO standards and quality systems

• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration

• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency

• Highly organized, able to work under pressure, and confident in fast-moving environments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
