Our client, based in Kariega within the automotive sector, has a vacancy available for a Quality Coordinator.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Represents company externally and internally.
Intensive investigation on Internal and External failures.
Chairs of meetings on Internal and External failures.
Completion of the PSS forms (PSS forms to be used as minutes of the meetings and must be sent to all relevant parties).
Coordinator of Corrective Actions and Failures.
Implementation of corrective actions assigned to him/her.
Conducting of Follow-up checks, to determine the effectiveness of corrective actions.
Escalation of non-implemented actions if needed (internal escalation).
Continuous updating of the Failures, causes and actions database and the escalation thereof.
Updating and creation of FMEA.
Continuous Feedback to the applicable department of failures.
Customer interaction regarding CIP (Follow up and corrective actions).
Create Lessons learned cards and Training when necessary.
Updating of team-related tasks on Global data and create Visual Aids.
Creating of Visual Aids.
Training when necessary.

Requirements:

Quality / Engineering qualification
Manufacturing experience and related processes
Q- System experience on ISO9001,VDA 6.3 and ISO/TS16949
Training on internal process auditing highlight advantageous
Qualification in Engineering or quality highly advantageous
Knowledge of technical drawings
Computer literacy essential in Excel, Word, Office
Track record in problem solving required
Drivers License highly advantageous
