SUMMARY:
Quality Engineer

POSITION INFO:

For this exciting position you must meet the following criteria:

A Degree in Quality Management/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Understanding of Quality processes and products in business
Highly computer literate

Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing new testing methods and procedures
Developing new routine QC testing methods and procedures
Ensuring that all current testing methods stay relevant to product application and update where applicable
Research and development of new testing processes and equipment
Commissioning of new testing equipment
Planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects
REporting monthly onproject status
Coordinate the maintenance of labs and testing equipment
Coordinating and conducting training requirements
ISIR''s for all relevant products (new and modified) before formalization of specifications - analysis, summary and recommendations
Involvement in testing of new products where relevant
Ad hoc testing of samples (complaints, problem solving) and reporting on findings
In general, ensuring accurate reliable and repeatable data output
