SUMMARY:
Quality Leader for the Automotive / Aerospace Industry

POSITION INFO:
World Class Manufacturing Company in Cape Town, with a multi-national client base in the Automotive / Aerospace industry, has an opportunity for a qualified individual with experience in the manufacturing field to fulfil the role of Quality Engineer. The successful incumbent will take responsibility for:
Ensuring that final products meet customer expectations. Inspection and testing of various parts, products, components, processes, and comparison against predefined standards. Implementing, establishing and maintaining Quality standards and processes. Statistical analysis of manufacturing data and creation of reports based on quality documentation. Continuous improvement to the manufacturing process. Support and preparation for ISO Auditing.
You will work closely together with various stakeholders, at every part of the manufacturing process, e.g: Suppliers, Customers, Manufacturing team, Design team etc.
Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Minimum 2 years’ of Quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in the automotive industry will be advantageous
Familiar with ISO TS 16949
