We are recruiting a Quality Engineer in the Welding Department. It focuses on ensuring that all welding-related processes, inspections, and documentation comply with company standards, customer requirements, and international welding codes

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and implement welding quality plans.
Monitor welding activities and ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, AWS, and other standards.
Conduct inspections of welds, materials, and processes.
Manage welding documentation, including WPS (Welding Procedure Specification), PQR (Procedure Qualification Record), and WPQ (Welder Performance Qualification).
Lead investigations of welding-related defects and ensure corrective/preventive actions.
Provide technical support and training to welders and production teams.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Welding preferred).
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI/IWE or equivalent) advantageous.
Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, etc.).
Familiarity with NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT).
Minimum years of welding/quality experience .
Skills & Competencies:

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Good communication for liaising with production, clients, and auditors.
Knowledge of safety, quality management systems, and continuous improvement.
