Quality Supervisor

Leading automotive supplier is seeking a Quality Supervisor to join the team

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification
• B-Tech / National Diploma in Quality Management preferable
• Core tools
• 5 years’ experience in Quality Department
• 3-5 years’ experience in a Supervisory role

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises the day-to-day activities Quality Engineers, Quality Technicians and Quality Inspectors
• Realizes quality concepts for existing and new products
• Ensures that Internal / External audit findings are closed out effectively and on time.
• Assists with further developing quality documentation (e.g., control plans, process FMEA's, process flow plans, work instructions)
• Assists with roll out and implementation of BOS COMPASS
• Reviews customer portals on a regular basis
• Interacts / Provides feedback on open topics to the various customer on a regular basis
• Supports the continuous optimization of the running production with respect to quality topics
• Supports and steers the failure analysis in case of quality problems and customer rejections
• Supports the zone responsible teams with closing out the QRCI / 8D‘s in the required timeframe
• Conducts data analysis to optimize processes
• Raises quality related problems to management
• Conducts internal process audits and follows up on open topics to ensure topics are closed out.
