Quality Supervisor Thermoplastic - Killarney Gardens - NEGOTIABLE

Thermoplastic Extrusions and Mouldings company seeks a Quality Supervisor to ensure that the company continually improves the quality of the products delivered to customers and accurately measures and feedback. You will oversee all quality activities, ensure customer satisfaction and that all matters relevant to the department are sufficiently dealt with to provide a professional and efficient service to both internal and external customers.

You will manage and maintain the quality management system ensuring the company is in conformance with the Company Quality Policy IATF 16949 & ISO 9001:2015, take full responsibility and ownership of all surveillance, rectification i.e. IATF16949, ISO 9001 and customer audits, project documentation review, able to read technical drawings, PPAP, PSW submission, doing product audits, scheduling internal audits and process audits.

You will be responsible for containing any out-of-specification products and taking through to final actions – release/concession/scrap, recording and investigating all out-of-specification products and communicating that information to Shift Setters / Manufacturing Manager.

Where applicable raising 8Ds or 4Ds and driving these through to conclusion, helping to implement and train the outcomes of any 8Ds or 4Ds along with the production team, promoting Quality awareness throughout all production staff.

Gauge measurement, record keeping and the update of the calibration records, measurement of components and creation of initial sample inspection reports, supporting colleagues on customer visits representing the company on quality-related matters

Continuous Improvement Activities Measurement of Effectiveness This role will be measured by:

• External Rejection measures (PPM).

• Internal Rejection measures (PPM).

• Control of non-conforming product and containment areas quantity, value, and age Safety

• Full compliance with the company’s Health and Safety Policy. Ensuring that all actions are carried out in accordance with the company procedures and Health and Safety laws. Compliance with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001 on implementation. Quality

• Full compliance with the company’s quality and environmental procedures. Ensuring that all actions are carried out in accordance with company quality procedures ISO9001:2015. Personal Specification Essential Experience

Minimum qualification and experience:

• Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Btech Quality. Previous Automotive industry experience is advantageous but full training will be provided.

• Accuracy in detailed work measuring

• Computer literate in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

• You will be self-motivated with the drive to achieve results, able to work to demanding timescales and able to work on your own initiative and unsupervised at times.

• You will also be consistent, persistent, accurate and articulate with attention to detail whilst maintaining quality and standards, enjoy problem-solving and challenges and always remain professional Desirable Experience

• A background in manufacturing would be advantageous and essential as full training
