Quality and Food Safety Coordinator

SUMMARY:
Our client, within the Agricultural Sector in Bloemfontein, is seeking a dynamic Quality and Food Safety Coordinator.

POSITION INFO:
Education & Experience:

• National Senior certificate or equivalent to NQF4.
• B.SC or National Diploma in Food Technology of Food Science.
• Knowledge in ISO 22000 and 22002, HACCP, VACCP and TACCP.
• Experience in Grain Milling is an advantage.
• Valid RSA driver's license with own transport.
• Experience in Internal Audit requirements will be advantageous.

• Ensure that the Management system documentation is documented and maintained according to the requirements of document in data control.
• Ensure compliance to laid down standards regarding product and service quality, food safety, standard operation procedures such as findings, CPA register and records as well as other manufacturing related requirements.
• Ensure that the requirements of the HACCP and ISO 22000 systems are maintained.
• Conduct Internal Audits monthly.
• Ensure key production quality control points are monitored according to Quality Control Plan.
• Monitor the stock levels of the chemical and cleaning products.
• Coordinate the in-house Pest Control Services.
• Monitor all IMTE (Inspection, Measuring and Testing equipment for calibration.
• Review all final product specifications.
