Quantitative Analyst

Exceptional opportunity available for a junior Quantitative Analyst to join an award-winning investment team! This role will allow you the opportunity to gain experience with quantitative analysis in asset pricing and allocation. The role falls within the credit funds space and will include credit research and credit risk analysis. Our ideal candidate will have strong Python & R programming skills and a keen interest in joining an investment team. Sound interesting?

Responsibilities:

• Development of quantitative analysis and tools
• Developing data models
• Investment model validation
• Ensuring by assessment, the effectiveness of data models
• Research and analysis, and credit analysis across sectors covering capital structure, profitability, liquidity, solvency etc.
• Monitor risk adjusted return of the credit world
• Counterparty interaction

Requirements

• Minimum of a completed post graduate qualification within the Finance/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Engineering sciences, advantage to those looking to study towards CFA / FRM
• Minimum of 1 years' experience in a quantitative role whether banking, credit, asset management or similar
• Must have strong R and Python programming skills
• Ability to understand, research of econometric concepts
• Good knowledge of statistical techniques and data science
• Self-motivated, and a good team player
• Ability to manage workflow
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Keen interest in the markets
