JOB SUMMARY:
A great opportunity has become available for a Quantitative Analyst with hands-on modelling experience in the provisions, impairments and statistical space.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
One of the largest competitors in the Financial Services industry is looking to provide an opportunity for a Quantitative Analyst. The ideal candidate must be an experienced model builder in provisions and impairments, as well as have sound working knowledge of financial modelling. Should a candidate have scorecard modelling experience it would be advantageous.

Education:

BSc Mathematics degree in statistics/mathematics/applied mathematics/actuarial science/BMI
Honours degree will be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 2+ years’ experience in model development
Strong computer skills
Coding experience in SQL, SAS, R/Python
Great model development experience in impairments.
