An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Civil Engineer to join a leading engineering company specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects while supporting project teams to achieve financial and operational objectives.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3–8 years' experience within civil infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects.
• Experience with water, wastewater, municipal infrastructure, pipelines, pump stations, or treatment plants is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of contract administration and cost management.
• Excellent commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Professional registration will be advantageous.

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and project budgets.
• Administer construction contracts and manage commercial obligations.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Manage project variations, claims, and payment certifications.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
• Identify commercial risks and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
