SUMMARY:
Quantity Surveyor

POSITION INFO:

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Measure and price planned jobs for estimates from outset until completion (Insurance, Retail, Property Portfolios & Privates)
Determine bill of quantities and materials
Attend site meetings
Do site visits to monitor progress & assessments
Apply to tender bulletins / tender boards. Ensure that we are on tender vendor panels & bulletins
Sourcing tenders suited to our CIDB grading
Collating of tenders
Visit the tender sites to measure
Preparing a work schedule/ programme
Price reactive / emergency jobs “as & when jobs” for Portfolio Administrators
Preparation of contracts
Analyzing completed work & authorizing sub-contractors payments
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables

Experience in:

Remuneration:

Basic Salary – Market Related and dependant on experience
Company Cellphone
Company Car during the day only

Pre requisites:

National Diploma in Building
B-Tech in Quantity Surveying
BSC - Quantity Surveying
Proven Track Record
Preference will be given to a BEE person and PDI person.
Valid Driver license
Aged between 30 and upwards
Computer literate
High level of numeracy
Prepared to travel nationally
