SUMMARY:
A major construction company requires an experienced Quantity Surveyor Ã¢Â€Â“ Roads & Earthworks/Civils/Building to be site based in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• BSc / BTech / ND Quantity Surveying.
• High degree of computer literacy such as CCS.
• 5 - 8 years hands on QS experience with a Roads and earthworks contractor.
• Ability to work accurately.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Problem solving abilities.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Must be prepared to travel.

• Managing all QS functions of large projects.
• Negotiations.
• Claims.
• Tenders.
• Cost analysis.
• Cost control.
• Schedules.
• Allowables.
• Variations.
• Certificates.
• Final accounts.
