Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a passion for contract administration and cost management?
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial aspects of projects, including cash flow, cost control, and contract administration.
- Verify monthly invoices and conduct quantity assessments on-site before approval.
- Oversee contract correspondence, attend site meetings, and liaise with stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of project tracking dashboards.
- Review bonds, guarantees, and insurances for service providers.
- Assist in preparing extension-of-time (EoT) requests and variation orders.
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations for contractors and service providers.
- Mentor, coach, and train learners, interns, and subordinates for succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Qualifications:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Desirable: Postgraduate diploma or master’s degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Professional registration with SACQSP.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification work experience,
- Proficiency in GCC, FIDIC, NEC, and JBCC contracts.
- Strong knowledge of cost engineering and financial management.
