Employer Description Our client specializes in design, supply, installation, and maintenance of earthing, lightning protection, and surge protection systems. Job Description You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission, including scope review, drawing interpretation, quantity take-offs, supplier pricing, labour and equipment costing, risk identification, clarifications, exclusions, and tender handover. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple estimates concurrently, meet firm submission deadlines, and coordinate effectively with engineering, procurement, operations, suppliers, and clients. Qualifications Bachelor's degree \/ National Diploma \/ recognized technical qualification in Quantity Surveying \/ Construction Management \/ Electrical Engineering, or a related built-environment discipline, OR 5+ years of verifiable workspace experience in estimating, cost engineering, and tender preparation for electrical, earthing, lightning protection, or related construction works Skills Demonstrated experience in Electrical Estimating specializing in Earthing & Lightning Protection Design, Risk Assessments, and Surveys. Competence in drawing interpretation, quantity take-offs, rate build-ups, supplier enquiry management, and tender compilation Proven, fluent administrative knowledge of NEC, FIDIC, and JBCC contractual conditions. Proven ability to estimate multiple technical files simultaneously in a high-pressure corporate workspace while hitting firm deadlines. Advanced Microsoft Excel capability; A valid driver's license with willingness to undertake site visits when required
