Our client is a leading supplier and manufacturer of conveyor belt solutions.

Job Description

 

Reporting to the Production Manager, You will be responsible for:

• Product development
• Design of new products and prototyping thereof
• Improvements to current designs
• Liaising with clients on modifications
• Customer complaints
• Site visits
• Continuous improvement, automation and optimization of manufacturing process
• Project Management
• CAD modeling, DEM Analysis
• Assisting with Production Planning.
• Production line optimisation
• Develop and implement quality standards and maintain ISO quality systems
• Technical Support
• Staff motivation and management
• Factory employee training
• Ensuring that plant and machinery are maintained
• Maintain and update preventative maintenance schedule
• Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering department

 

Qualifications

 

• BSc/BEng/BTech in Mechanical Engineering

 

Skills

 

• 7 – 10 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Conveyor belts and related manufactured products.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a must.
• Experience in rollers, trackers, related products of conveyor belts is preferred
• Preferably some Operation management experience.
• Valid Driver''''s License
