Our client is a turnkey project management and equipment manufacturing supplier.

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Engineer, You will be responsible for:

• Taking the project from concept, managing the manufacture thereof, overall QA responsibility, client interface, budget and schedule
• Work in an exciting environment with medium to large sized projects, specifically spares supply projects for equipment
• Manage all Electrical, Instrumentation & Control design requirements including review of the SOW, design review and commentary, exclusions and risk and approval and sign off
• Engage with E&I, Control and Motor consulting engineers and manage them
• Manage draftsmen as required and drawing checking
• Manage all Electrical, Instrumentation and Control manufacturing through sub-contractors
• Generate review and approve project Functional specification, Control Philosophy and Set points
• Attend FAT’s for E&I, Control systems and Motors and equipment (local and international)
• Manage site based installation projects from SA offices
• Engage with site services departments
• After market and Spares
• Undertake typical project engineer functions

Qualifications

• BSc/BTech Electrical Engineering

Skills

• 5+ years in E&I and Control engineering environment
• Electrical, instrumentation and Control experience is critical
