Our client are leaders in the design and manufacturing of processing plants and high-speed packaging equipment.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Process & Technology, You will be responsible for:

• Designing and detailed engineering of processing plants for brewery, soft drinks, dairy products & water treatment.
• Managing projects from quotations to final acceptance
• Technical clarification of projects
• Compiling flow charts as process descriptions for programming of individual units, plants or higher- level processes
• Calculating the scope of supply of projects
• Management of 3rd party supply (equipment and services) from technical tendering to final acceptance of supply
• Carry out equipment size calculation, equipment specification, piping designs, etc.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions for Process problems
• Clarify technical issues
• Conduct FAT for the software together with the software engineer
• Independent and autonomous procedural commissioning of respective machines and process plants, especially in cases of complex procedural lines on site with the customer
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions for process problems
• Plan, organize and execute process evaluation
• Train and develop technical members
• Support the Automation Engineer in creating DDS’s and other automation related documents

Qualifications

• BSc/BTech Mechanical/Chemical Engineering

Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Process Engineering, preferably in the beverage industry
• Ability to communicate with suppliers and customers across various levels
• Must be willing to travel
