Job Description

You will be the custodian of planned maintenance and be responsible for the repair, maintenance and optimization of plant and equipment.

• Lead the problem-solving teams for chronic breakdowns and support planned maintenance, TPM philosophies and inspections.
• Establish engineering standards and train plant operators on correct methods of operating equipment, coordinate improvement projects and engage with preferred suppliers.
• Conduct planned maintenance of plant, equipment and facilities
• Attend to unplanned maintenance of plant and equipment
• Coordinate and oversee all work done by contractors
• Coordinate and facilitate all CAPEX and optimization projects
• Promote a safe work environment for all
• Critical spare stock
• Assist with administration duties
• Assist with the review of the relevant documentation
• Manage and initiate maintenance programs
  Ensure the equipment and plant is maintained and serviced correctly and efficiently
• Exercise control over inventory and manage spare parts procurement
• Ensure the workshop, personnel and contractors are managed efficiently
• Ensure the workshop is a clean and healthy environment at all times and all duties are carried out with strict regard to company HSSE policies and procedures
• Assist with stock control and general housekeeping

• QHSE Responsibilities

Skills

• 5 years minimum industry related experience
• Mechanical and Electrical Engineering background
• Pump and pipework installation experience essential
• Maintenance experience in valves, gears, meters and instruments essential
• Ability to read and comprehend manuals and schematics
