Job Description

Reporting to the Production Manager, You will be responsible for:

• Design and conduct time and motion studies.
• Develop work standards that promote efficient utilization of staff and facility.
• Develop product and process charts.
• Develop product and process SOP’s.
• Prepare project production schedules and assist with production duties as necessary.
• Apply sound engineering techniques to improve operating performance and reduce wastage and delays.
• Track production progress and developed updates to existing tracking programs.
• Assist production manager with large scale projects.
• Manage inventory and prepared weekly inventory reports.
• Develop, co-ordinate and maintain all manufacturing information and systems.
• Develop manufacturing methods to improve material handling in production.
• Design layout of equipment and workspace.
• Ensure the quality of production and products produced meet customer and design standards.
• Design and develop quality documentation, i.e. procedures, work instructions, inspection, and sampling plans

Qualifications

• BSc/BTech Industrial Engineering

Skills

• 5 years'' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in steel/welding or metals environment
