SUMMARY:
A defense company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer.

POSITION INFO:

Our R&D division is expanding and we are seeking a highly skilled Weapon Systems Design Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team that is shaping the future of modern warfare.

Role Overview:
As an R&D Weapon Systems Design Engineer, you will lead and contribute to the design, analysis, and development of advanced weapon systems, from concept through to prototype. Your work will directly influence next-generation defense capabilities across land, sea, air, and space platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the conceptual and detailed design of weapon systems and subsystems.
Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and trade-off analyses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, software, systems integration, and manufacturing.
Support system architecture definition, interface design, and integration planning.
Engage in design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance with defense standards.
Produce technical documentation and support test and evaluation phases.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and defense partners.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, or a related engineering field.
Proven experience in weapon system development, aerospace/defense R&D, or similar high-integrity systems.
Strong proficiency in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, and CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, and MATLAB).
Understanding of military standards, system lifecycle, and design assurance.
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
