Our R&D division is expanding and we are seeking a highly skilled Weapon Systems Design Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team that is shaping the future of modern warfare.
Role Overview:
As an R&D Weapon Systems Design Engineer, you will lead and contribute to the design, analysis, and development of advanced weapon systems, from concept through to prototype. Your work will directly influence next-generation defense capabilities across land, sea, air, and space platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the conceptual and detailed design of weapon systems and subsystems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and trade-off analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, software, systems integration, and manufacturing.
- Support system architecture definition, interface design, and integration planning.
- Engage in design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance with defense standards.
- Produce technical documentation and support test and evaluation phases.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and defense partners.
Required Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, or a related engineering field.
- Proven experience in weapon system development, aerospace/defense R&D, or similar high-integrity systems.
- Strong proficiency in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, and CATIA) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, and MATLAB).
- Understanding of military standards, system lifecycle, and design assurance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
