REF#74291 Snr Estimates/Quotes Freight Forwarder, Africa (Air & Sea), Kempton Park, Rneg
Main Purpose of The Role:
- Responsible for compiling estimates / quotations from the company’s Global network into Zimbabwe, Zambia & Malawi -Via Durban, Beira, Walvis Bay & Dar Es Salaam.
- Provide FOB estimates within 24 hours
- Ex works estimates within 48 hours
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Pricing / Estimates
- Understanding of incoterms critical
- Understanding of shipping line processes and requirements
- Understanding of port charges and processes
Job requirements
- Negotiate and Procure rates from ocean carriers.
- Negotiate and Procure rates from 3PL services providers, such as port agents, transporters as well as origin stations.
- Compile estimates / Quotations – 15 to 20 per day
- Monthly reporting of conversion of estimates to business
