JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a candidate that would like to work in the hospitality industry.

Your role would be to be a reservationist for the company and to make sure that all reservation information is captured on time to ensure customer satisfaction.

This position is for one of the upper-class lodges in the Kruger National Park and is thus a great opportunity for the right person.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

KEY FOCUS AREAS:

Communicates reservation information to the LSKNP front desk, ensuring that all reservation information is available to all departments when they require it.
Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relay this information to all departments.
Prepare expected arrival lists for front of house.
Offer guest information regarding all services, accommodation, and facilities.
Ensure effective communication with the More Support office with regard to reservation details.
Process and post onto Pan all reservation deposits received by EFT, direct deposits, and credit card
Fill in for Guest Relations and Hosting when required.

TEAM SUPPORT & PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:

Sound knowledge of the applicable property/company procedures for the department.
Sound knowledge of MS Office suite and PANstrat. Training will also be provided.
Experience with the highest level of customer service in a luxury environment.
Understand information quickly & accurately.
Knowledge on the operation of in-room equipment and appliances.
Know all lodge packages, rates, and activities.

REQUIREMENTS – QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Grade 12 and a Diploma in Hospitality Management.
Valid code driver’s license.
Sound experience in Hospitality positions-minimum 1 year
Knowledge and experience of overall hospitality operations
Excellent communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Administrative skills
