POSITION INFO:

RETAIL STORE SUPERVISOR/ GQEBERHA – The successful Candidate must be willing to work Retail Hours, Shift work, including weekend and public holidays.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• A tertiary qualification in Sales will be advantageous.
• Computer literate with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Great Plains.
• Valid driver’s licence
• A minimum of 2 years of retail store management experience will be advantageous.
• Prior experience in pricing and margin management over a range of products
• Experience in point-of-sale systems.
• Prior experience in stock control, merchandising, and stock rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer payments accurately using the POS system.
• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Identify and address customer queries or complaints, taking appropriate corrective action.
• Support the training of new employees when required.
• Clean and replenish shop shelves in line with established procedures.
• Maintain the back stock area in accordance with departmental standards.
• Assist colleagues as needed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support operational requirements.
• Share responsibility for maintaining overall shop cleanliness.
• Understand and comply with customer service quality standards as set by management.
• Provide support to other departments when required.
• Adhere to organisational and departmental policies and procedures.

Remuneration – R13,000 + benefits
