RETAIL TRAINEE OPERATIONS MANAGER - CAPE TOWN

SUMMARY:
Our client a successful retail based in SA and in parts of Africa is looking for a trainee operations manager to join their regional team based in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

the role requires travelling to all the regions store to perform the following tasks:

Maximize profits of the region:

• Maximise Sales
• Identify Gaps and opportunities related to product lines
• Manage and minimise costs
• Manage and miniimise shrinkage

To monitor and ensure consistant implementation of the company policy. standards, procedures and systems with the region.

• Regular branch inspections
• Regular follow-ups
• Effective use of reports / biportal
• Analyse reports and ensure effective implementation
• To oversee the effective management of human resources within the region
• To grow market share
• Identify possible revamps of old stores
• Ensure successful opoening of new stores
• Identify gaps and propose relevent product range for the relevant store profiles within the region
