RF Engineer (Partly Remote)

SUMMARY:
Challenging opportunity for a RF Engineer at a client that specialise in Automation, Simulation, Communication and Control Solutions for aircraft systems. They combine their products with system engineering, integration and testing support services to customise and deliver these solutions to its clients.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will lead the Telecommunication and Data Management Group. The group is responsible for the specification and selection of datalinks, antenna systems and storage hardware. They are also doing the development of telecommunication and data management software as well as firmware applications.  Follow formal development processes for highly reliable safety critical and mission critical systems.

Highly in favour of remote work but also get together once a week to interact with your team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering essential or higher qualification (Please send your academic results with your CV)

Experience:

Minimum of 5 year’s relevant system engineering experience is required

Skills:

Exceptional team leadership skills

Telecommunication system design

Software programming (C, C++, Python)

Digital networking

Data encryption, storage and retrieval

Video and audio encoding and transcoding

Familiarity with SATCOM and LOSCOM systems

Additional recommended (not required) design skills and experience include elements of the following: FPGA design and VHDL proficiency and experience
