SUMMARY:
Use your vast experience in RF and Microwave systems to manage and guide an experienced and talented team within a market-leading organization. Work on exciting research projects within the RF design sector and contribute to the company success from a strategic position.

POSITION INFO:

Mentor and guide junior employees in the organization

Assemble and contribute in design reviews

Exceptional planning and time-management skills

Manage in-house training and lead individual studies if needed

Manage patent descriptions for patenting of company intellectual property

Provide assistance and guidance within near and far-field measurements, Antenna design and construction, RF Design for receivers and exciters

Assist in the field of all analogue circuitry, including video amplifiers and power supplies

Assist and provide guidance in the field of modeling and simulation of systems and subsystems

Attend technical project reviews

Client Liaison

Attend management meetings weekly

Attend and contribute within strategy planning sessions

Company representative within the university and radar communities

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 10 years’ experience within RF design and implementation

Schematic capture and PCB layout tools experience

Outstanding communication skills (written and spoken)

Experience in Electronic Test Equipment

Must be proficient in MS Office

Qualification:

MEng/MSc in Electrical and Electronic/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
