RISK & SAFETY OFFICER / Risk Manager

SUMMARY:
A vacancy for an experienced Risk & Safety Officer that will assist with all security and OHS related processes and incidents.

POSITION INFO:

Main Duties

• Daily control of the security officers on the premises.

• Monitor and manage the guarding and response companies ensuring   

all services are carried out as agreed upon SLA and reporting of all incidents/issues to Group Facilities Manager.

• Monitor and manage property and premises access and egress control and reporting of all incidents/issues to Group Facilities Manager.

• Management and extraction of CCTV footage used in all investigations and audits.

• Oversee and report of any criminal or suspicious activity to the Group Facilities Manager for discussion and analyses.

• Manage the vehicle tracking system management, data integrity and exception reporting.

• Managing of all alarm activations, response and reporting.

• Required to open and close of the Head Office building daily and as and when required.

• Facilitate spot checks on private and company owned vehicles as well as checks on staff members.

• Manage and co-ordinate all investigations that may arise.

• Perform stock and document checks and audits at head office and branches.

• Compiling, implement and monitor a risk audit process and profile for head office and branches.

• Health and Safety Officer, First Aider training and operation.

• Conduct routine checks on Health & Safety compliance within all respective departments and branches.

• You are accountable for the functioning of all security systems, at all times and will be required to report any issues immediately to the Group Facilities Manager and technical management.

• Ensure vehicle checks are conducted for safety and general roadworthiness.

• Full monitoring of vehicle tracking systems and the reporting thereof.

 Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 - 5 years in the same or similar role

• Valid Health & Safety certification, SHE Rep, First Aider and Fire Fighter.

• Hold or previously held a Health & Safety officer position

• Relevant certificates or qualifications in Security Management and Occupational Health & Safety.

• Must be available on standby for all Security related incidents

• Own vehicle with valid drivers’ license

• Be on call 24/7 for all security related incidents.

• Fully computer literate and good command of the English Language
